Chaika-Service automobile plant showed a wide range of automotive equipment for various fields of application. Among the key novelties are import-substituted aerial work platform and crane manipulator units. It is important to note that import substitution at the Nizhny Novgorod enterprise began to be engaged not after February 24, 2022, but several years before the special operation began. The previously installed Italian Socage aerial work platforms in the range from 15 to 28 m are now as localized as possible. Two models of manipulator cranes (formerly Italian Amco Veba) are also localized. Further work is underway to expand the line of own crane manipulators. For aerial work platforms and crane manipulators, the plant itself carries out the entire production cycle of metal structures made of high-strength steel, produces hydraulic cylinders. Currently, the transition to domestic high-strength steel and hydraulics of alternative suppliers from Russia, Turkey and China is underway.

Among the localized models of lifting equipment presented at the trade fair was a combined aerial work platform with a telescopic knee bend Chaika TR424 with a lifting height of 24 m on the basis of the ‘GAS NEXT’. Another development of its own is an updated version of the Chaika TR318 LIGHT telescopic aerial work platform with a lifting height of 18 m based on the JAC N90. The crane manipulator unit Chaika NR808 2S with a cargo torque of 7.9 tm and a maximum departure of 7.15 m, mounted on the basis of the ‘GAS NEXT’ in the version of the emergency service vehicle, is also import-substituted.

The company also showed its top model – a heavy cargo tow truck with partial loading based on the KAMAZ-65801 4-axle chassis with the Chaika-Fassi manipulator crane and a number of other special vehicles, some of which were exhibited at the stands of partner companies. Among them is a medium-tonnage JAC N120S with a dump truck 10-cubic scoop-type body with high sides, designed to carry 6.3 tons of cargo. Another novelty is of interest – the medium-tonnage JAC N200 chassis with a lifting capacity of 7.9-8.03 tons with a 6.7-liter engine with a capacity of 180 hp, the supply of which to Russia will start this summer. The chassis will be offered with three wheelbase options and a cabin with a sleeping place. Chaika-Service’ equipped this machine with an on-board platform and a cable CMU HC HLC-7016 with a nominal load capacity of 7000 kg and a maximum reach of 19.6 meters.
